The city centre has a large, modern shopping complex and an array of unique shops, offering a unique shopping experience. The main bus station for Canterbury is next to the shopping complex. Welcoming pubs, restaurants and clubs litter the city for varying choice and adds to its unique identity. Local train services are operated by South Eastern Rail. Canterbury East is a ten minute walk and Canterbury West is a fifteen minute walk from Union Street. Both lines have links to London Victoria.
