Hot Tips

- Allow yourself enough time to find a property. Property varies widely in London, and although it is possible, it is not likely that you will take the first thing you go and see. By leaving yourself a few days to find somewhere, you may be putting yourself under unnecessary stress. If you start looking early, you will have already made contact with many of Flatland's Landlords, ready for when you need to move.

- Always allow yourself ample time to get to your appointment. Being late is never a good way to impress a future landlord, and looking at a property whilst stressed may affect your judgment of it.

- Make sure that you know how to get to your appointment. When phoning Flatland for more contacts / appointments, have a pen and paper handy! Be prepared to take down contact / appointment details from our customer services.

- If you have a suspicion that a property will be popular and may get let quickly, take a small holding deposit (1 week rent maximum). Upon the landlord receiving this, make sure you get a receipt.
